Since we were unable to hold our gala last year to help fund the free concerts and programs City Parks Foundation offers our city, we presented SummerStage Jubilee—a benefit concert film in celebration and support of our work in parks for all New Yorkers.
The Jubilee, featuring original performances by Sting, Norah Jones, Trey Anastasio, Leslie Odom, Jr., Rosanne Cash, Rufus Wainwright, Emily King, and PJ Morton, and park stories from Billie Jean King, Paul Shaffer, Lewis Black, Ryan Seacrest, Jimmy Fallon, and H.E.R. premiered September 17, 2020 as a special limited engagement event which closed on October 16, 2020.
All gifts will ensure that our free programs in parks continue to provide science-based environmental education lessons for future stewards of our natural world; equipment and training for 5,000 ‘green responder’ volunteers to beautify local parks; and youth sports instruction to improve skills, build self confidence while developing positive attitudes toward youth fitness. Your gift also ensures that our new digital arts festival, SummerStage Anywhere, continues to make the performing arts available to all and supports our commitment to bringing concerts back to our parks.
Gifts of $1,000 and above will be recognized below.
